Anti-Slavery Policy

Last Update: April 14, 2022

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It is SysAid’s belief that modern slavery and human trafficking are abhorrent pratices that have no place in our business, nor will we tolerate in our supply chains. Modern slavery may take various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced labor and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.SysAid is committed to maintaining its social responsibility and to the fair and humane treatment of people in its employment and in its supply chains. SysAid is an international IT business and as such, SysAid’s own business operations and supply chain consists primarily of office-based professionals, with very limited exposure to areas with greater risk of modern slavery. SysAid has conducted an assessment of the risks, both external and internal, of slavery and human trafficking, including country risks, sector risks and business partnership risks within our operations including our supply chain and have determined that none of our own business operations are undertaken in higher risk areas, whether by reference to geographical location or business sector. Nevertheless, SysAid remains committed and will continue to monitor the risk of slavery and human trafficking in its supply chains and its own business, SysAid intends to act and report accordingly.

To this end, SysAid may require employment agencies and other third parties supplying workers or business services to our business to adhere to Anti-Slavery policies at least as restrictive as SysAid’s. If SysAid discovers that suppliers or other organizations with which we work breached this policy, SysAid will take appropriate action, which may include terminating such relationship.
