This privacy notice (the “Privacy Notice”) describes how SysAid Technologies Ltd. (“SysAid,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) collect and use Personal Data about candidates in the process of candidates' application for employment.
“Personal Data” refers to any information that relates, alone or together with other data, to a uniquely identify or identifiable individual, as set for in applicable privacy laws.
You are not legally obligated to provide us with Personal Data and providing us with Personal Data is of your own free will and consent. By submitting your application, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Notice and our collection, processing, and sharing of Personal Data for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Notice, please do not apply for the relevant position.
We will process information about you, including the information appears in your CV, such as your personal contact details, name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, work and personal email addresses and other information included in a CV and/or cover letter or as part of the application process (including your education details, and training details, former employment records including job titles, work history, and professional memberships), compensation history, job interviews summaries and salary offers and other similar information as needed to
consider your application and as permissible under local law. If you receive and accept an offer of employment with us, you may have to provide proof of your identity and certifications or authentications for additional information.
We need to collect and process your Personal Data for the purposes of:
- receiving, reviewing and replying to your application;
- verifying the information you or others provide, and checking your references;
- assessing your suitability for the opportunity you applied for;
- facilitating interview/recruiting process;
- staying in touch and engaging with you for opportunities at us we may consider you for current and future opportunities.
We may share your Personal Data with third parties, including with entities within or outside of our jurisdiction (including but not limited to: Canada and U.S), including:
- all other SysAid entities globally (“SysAid Group”), to maintain and improve effective administration of the workforce, a corporate directory and IT systems, to monitor and assure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws, to respond to requests and legal demands from regulators and other authorities, and as otherwise required or appropriate for the processing purposes.
- regulators, courts, and other authorities, independent external advisors, Directors within the SysAid Group, insurance carriers, benefits providers, internal compliance and investigation teams; where required by law, where it is necessary to administer the working relationship with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so;
- service providers for the processing purposes described above;
- In the event that we are acquired by, or merged with, a third party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer, disclose or assign your personal data in connection with the foregoing events.
If you are successful in obtaining employment at us, the information which we need to keep to make further arrangements for your employment will be retained whilst your employment continues. If not successful, we may retain your data for the purpose of staying in touch regarding future job opportunities. If you prefer that your data not be kept for this purpose, email us, and we will delete it accordingly.
Note that you have the right to access personal data about you. If you notice that this data is inaccurate, not updated or incomplete, you can request for the rectification or the deletion of that personal data.
