SysAid’s business practices are designed to support an environmentally sustainable future for
our employees, customers, partners, and the communities in which we all live. We view
compliance with environmental laws and regulations as a minimum standard of performance
and not a benchmark. Beyond this, SysAid is committed to prioritizing and improving the
environmental integrity of our processes and offices.
Please see some of our guiding principles:
Provide a safe and healthful workplace and ensure that personnel are properly trained and have
appropriate safety and emergency equipment.
Be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the communities in which we operate, and act
promptly and responsibly to correct incidents or conditions that endanger health, safety, or the
environment. Report them to authorities promptly and inform affected parties as appropriate.
SysAid has implemented systems and procedures designed to reduce the use of hazardous
materials, energy, and other natural resources, to minimize the generation of waste, and to
enable recycling and reuse of materials.
Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business by reusing and recycling
materials to improve energy efficiency, purchasing recycled materials, using recyclable
packaging and other materials and giving preference to renewable over non-renewable energy
sources when feasible. We use water primarily for sanitation, landscaping, catering and in
building cooling systems. We pursue water conservation measures, with emphasis in prioritizing
initiatives for locations in water stressed regions.
We promote environmental responsibility among our employees by promulgating and
encouraging them to support and adhere to this policy and among our vendors by informing
them of our environmental policy and encouraging them to adopt effective environmental
management practices. Of course, we seek and are always open to input from our employees,
suppliers, customers, and board members in meeting our environmental goals. We will continue
to seek opportunities to improve our environmental performance by establishing objectives and
targets, measure our progress, and report our results.
